If you look at the trailing earnings... it looks not too bad.
Q-Q increased a lot from 14.9 mil... but.. if u look at the bigger picture, perhaps you might wonder if that Q4 earnings was terribly poor. Hence if you compare to the same period last year (ie compare to fy 07 Q1) Ornasteel earnings improved less than 10% only..

However, my concern in this stock is the money in 'market securities'. Now as an investor, my preference is that I do not want to see companies doing such stuff. I would rather see companies return excess money back to their investor.

Company had some 30 million in marketable securities.
Now the following was taken from yesterday's earnings...
